This site intended for it to be a source of historical data on the mining districts and mining history within Kern County California. This site also provides a resource for local miners organizing and staffing their mining districts. We are more than happy to publish and distribute messages to their district(s).

This site is run by Robert F, a miner of several years and located in Bakersfield. Anyone with questions regarding mining in Kern County is more than welcome to message me with questions. I am glad to assist anyone with help on locating or staking a claim.
